Season 5 of Orphan Black premiered on June 10 14th, 2017 on BBC America at 10/9c and aired its season finale on August 12, 2017. Like all seasons prior it has 10 episodes. After Season 4 moved to Thursdays rather than on Saturdays Season 5 moved back to air on Saturdays like past seasons. The show was officially renewed on June 16, 2016 and was confirmed to be the final one.

  • On March 12, 2019, two years after the series finale of this series, it was reported that a new story set in the Orphan Black universe is in early development at AMC. Temple St. Productions, which produced the original series, is on board to produce the series, which won't be a reboot nor a spinoff of the original. [1]
