- "Our paths rarely cross anymore...but, when they do, it's almost always because of Sarah Manning. We need to look at that." "
- —Marion to Aldous [src]
Marion Bowles was a high-level Dyad Institute employee, Rachel Duncan's boss at Dyad.
Biography[]
History[]
Marion, as revealed in By Means Which Have Never Yet Been Tried, adopted 8-year-old Charlotte Bowles, the only success out of 400 failed attempts by Dyad to recreate a clone 20 years after the success of Project Leda, and has since raised her as an adopted daughter. At the same time, Rudy, a Project Castor clone, is being imprisoned inside Marion's home.
Season 2[]
She appears as a member from the upper echelons of the Dyad Institute and is in frequent contact with Leekie and Rachel Duncan. She wants to keep Rachel focused on her tasks and not troubled by emotional issues (death of Leekie, revelations about her past and the appearance of her father).
In an agreement with Paul she helps Sarah to free Kira. She tells Sarah that she has the answers Sarah is looking for and should meet each other the next day. She has a daughter, Charlotte, and Sarah meets her. Marion also shows Rudy to Sarah.
Season 3[]
Felix mentions her at the start of season 3 and says that she is in Europe to protect all sisters of project Leda. She sent Delphine to keep watch on project Castor.
It is unknown if Marion Bowles is alive as her daughter, Charlotte, is in the hands of Neolution and Susan Duncan.
