Zarin is a character from the audio series where she is portrayed and the series voiced by Tatiana Maslany.

Season 1[]

She is an unaware LEDA Clone, one of the 274 on Rachel Duncan's LEDA List supplied to Cosima for vaccinations. Like other unaware clones, she was made aware traumatically through the Clone Project being revealed. She lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil .

Other Clones revealed in the newscast by Sally Winters was Sarah Manning, Alison Hendrix, Mackenzie McCarthy and Vivi Valdez (though no name and unknown to the world that she is a Boston Clone, not a LEDA Clone.)

“Zarin Silva of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil suffered permanent damage to her eyes from that attack,” Winters’ voice narrated. “Her attacker, who was caught and charged, is part of ‘46Pure’—an international group of genetic purists who strongly oppose the modification of any organism. While the group claims they do not condone the use of violence, it also does not penalize its extremist members for any of their actions.” -Sally Winters of Zarin to the public via media reports.

Zarin was attacked by members of ‘46Pure’—an international group of genetic purists who strongly oppose the modification of any organism. While the group claims they do not condone the use of violence, it also does not penalize its extremist members for any of their actions.

Appearance[]

Zarin looks like all other LEDA Clones, now unfortunately with permanent eye damage and likely skin damage after an attack once people found out she is a clone.

"A Leda clone in a pantsuit being attacked by camera flashes appeared on screen. Reporters hollered “Zarin! Zarin!” as she made her way out of a large glass and marble building.

“Por favor—” she begged, squeezing through the throng.

“Mutante sujo!” barked a voice off camera as clear liquid splashed into the clone’s face. Shrieking, the woman clutched her eyes. Someone in a balaclava rushed in, pouring bleach over the clone’s head, nearly emptying the bottle before police intervened."
